Foundation Forms are Stripped!

Here are the first pictures of the fresh new foundation walls. The students spent the day stripping the forms. The cement looks terrific and very professional.

I finally had a chance today to actually go inside the structure. It is still hard to believe this is going to be a house. The rooms look small with nothing inside them to give them some scale. Even the opening for the garage door looks too small to drive our vehicles through!

Next up - the drainage tile.

    What is that 'grave size' room in the middle picture (the one with the ladder coming out of it) for?

    My Dad watches from Victoria Jenny! Things are moving along and from a novice/layman point of view, I think the foundation looks outstanding.

    Marsh - that's for the kids! No, really, it was supposed to be the maintenance room but we think it will end up being storage.
    Dave - that is great! I definitely thought the foundation looked very professional and well done.
